Private Lessons
Description
- Private surfing lessons can either be 1:1 or you can grab a mate (or group of mates) for your own private group
- Private lessons are specifically tailored to you or your groups needs and/or level
- Personalised lesson structure based on your fitness level, previous surfing experience or any specific requests you may have
- Taught by fully qualified and professional surfing instructors who will be with you every step of the way to help you achieve your surfing goals.

Class includes:
90 min lesson including the use of a softboard, wetshirt and wetsuit (if required). Participants will just require sunscreen and a towel

Where
Currumbin Alley (For directions type ‘Currumbin Alley Surf School’ into Google Maps). Meeting place is our surf school truck parked at the entrance to the carpark.
Please ensure to arrive 15 mins early to your class and allow time to find a carpark! It can get quite busy, especially on weekends and public holidays.

What
Short land instruction (normally 15-20 mins) covering surf safety, surfboard handling, paddling, standing and falling techniques and wave selection. Remaining time spent in the water with the aid of the instructor. Beginner lessons are generally held in waist to chest depth water. If you have previous surfing experience we may take you further out the back depending on your level.
What to bring
All you will need is swimming bottoms, sunscreen and a towel. We supply safe, soft surfboards, wetshirts and wetsuits (if required). You can leave your belongings in our truck if you wish, however we do not hold responsibility for your items. For all other information regarding your session, please refer to our FAQ’s page
Who
Anyone over the age of 5.
*** PLEASE NOTE: If you are booking for multiple people in the private lesson and there are children who are not confident in the water, you may wish to pay a small extra fee for an assistant instructor. Please contact us prior to booking for more info.

booking is to be cancelled/postponed. If cancellation is made at least 24 hrs
before the scheduled booking, we can reschedule your session. If cancellation
is made within 24 hrs of your booking, we cannot offer any credit.
