Frothing Grommet — School Holiday Program
Description
- 5 day programs run every Monday to Friday of each school holidays
- Open for kids aged 5-14 years old (please note we generally split groups according to ages)
- Taught by fully qualified and professional surfing instructors who aim to make surfing safe, fun and educational
- 5 fun filled days of surfing with each day dedicated to the teaching of a new surfing topic
- We cater to kids of all levels from complete beginner to advanced
- * PLEASE NOTE: If you’re booking for a child who is not a strong swimmer/afraid of the ocean or is under 8, it is recommended a parent join them in the water to assist them return to the coaches after catching a wave
Class includes:
5 x 90 min surfing sessions from Mon to Fri of school holidays*
DURING THE WEEK, KIDS WILL LEARN: Surf safety and awareness Stand-up procedures Surf specific stretches How to control and manoeuvre the surfboard.
FOR THOSE WITH PREVIOUS SURFING EXPERIENCE, WE WILL INTRODUCE YOU TO MORE ADVANCED SKILLS SUCH AS: Riding along the wave Turning Duck diving Reading surf conditions
*If there is a public holiday on any of the scheduled surfing days, the final session will be moved to a Saturday.

What to bring

*Please note our cancellation policy: we require at least 24 hrs notice if your
booking is to be cancelled/postponed. If cancellation is made at least 24 hrs
before the scheduled booking, we can reschedule your session. If cancellation
is made within 24 hrs of your booking, we cannot offer any credit.
