Intermediate / Improver Sessions

Stuck in a rut with your surfing? Want to be able to get out there and ride those unbroken waves and learn how to turn your board, duckdive or paddle stronger? Intermediate/Improver sessions are aimed at those who have progressed beyond beginner level and are looking to fine tune their surfing skills. You may have your own board that you can use in these sessions or choose from our range of softboards ranging from 7’ – 9’6. In these 1.5 hour sessions, you will receive constant feedback and encouragement from your instructor as well as specific objectives to achieve based on your individual level.

Where: Currumbin Alley or Currumbin Beachfront (depending on conditions)– meet at alley carpark

When: Saturday and Sunday morning 7.30 – 9am 

Who: Those who can competently stand – up and paddle in the small stuff and are looking for a challenge

What: Each individual is given something specific to work on depending on their level of competency. This may be turning across the wave, cutting back, standing up quicker or smoothing out the kinks in your surfing style. You will also be given things to work on at home or in your own time to help you shred quicker!!

How much: Adult – $30/1.5 hour session

Child/Student – $25/session
