Gold Coast Surfing Location
Currumbin Alley is by far the safest and easiest location to learn to Surf on the Gold Coast, offering gentle, sand – bottom waves ideal for the first time surfer or those looking to refine skills such as turning and duck-diving. Located just off the Gold coast Highway only 5 minutes drive from Coolangatta Airport and 5 minutes drive either way from world class point breaks Burleigh Point and Kirra, Currumbin offers a sheltered and less intense option for learn to surfers than other Gold Coast Beaches as well as offering a more laid back and learner friendly environment.
The meeting place for all surfing lessons is Currumbin Alley Carpark opposite the ‘Volunteer Marine Rescue’ building. Look for our big white van with the big steel cage on top!
